Non-destructive testing (NDT) is a highly effective way to detect the smallest imperfections or damage in aviation materials or components. Inspections can be performed throughout their working life, without materially affecting the integrity of the item being tested. Complications such as fatigue cracks and corrosion are constant threats for the aviation and aerospace industry.
US Inspection & NDT's highly skilled technicians use the latest technology to identify defects in structural and surface components on aircraft that are critical, many of which would otherwise be undetected. The use of component specific NDT methods to discover internal and external flaws while inspecting various parts of the aircraft structure is critical.
